Recently awarded an honorary fellowship of the Institute of Direct Marketing, Shane Redding is the current chair of the IDM’s b2b council. She regularly lectures internationally on topics including customer retention, lead generation, b2b media, digital and data analysis and international direct marketing.
With over twenty years of international b2b and consumer direct marketing experience, Shane provides strategic advice and practical training to both end users and DM suppliers. Specialising in data, databases and analysis, she enjoys helping businesses of all sizes to significantly improve their bottom line through direct marketing.
In addition to her own consultancy business Think Direct, Shane holds a number of board advisory roles which include Infoline Conferences, Livingstone Guarantee and Total Hotspots. Past board positions also include LBM, DraftWorldwide and Symphony Direct Communications. Other industry roles have included vice chair of FEDMA, UK DMA board director, plus Sales and Marketing Director of Mardev.
Never one to ignore a challenge, Shane is currently overseeing a “grand designs” project restoring a Victorian house. This has introduced her to the new sporting delights of scaffold climbing and cellar potholing to add to her existing interests in tennis, cricket and rowing. She can also be relied upon to provide a restaurant recommendation or two (or three!).
