A specialist in business marketing data strategy and management, marketing operations and analytics, Simon's experience spans the information and communication technology sector, including roles at Apple, T-Mobile, Gartner and enterprise software vendor Progress Software. He has been responsible for a number of marketing database and campaign automation solutions implementations, together with a variety of customer management and development programmes, working across Europe, North America and the Asia Pacific regions. Simon's focus is always on ensuring marketing effectiveness and accountability.
A contributor to the IDM Business to Business Certificate programme, Simon also assumes the guise of "Marketing Insight Guy", an independent website and blog with thoughts and information on his experiences working with marketing data, systems, processes and analysis.
Simon has a keen interest in technology and enjoys keeping abreast of current affairs, as well as spending time in the great outdoors walking and camping, where he can often be found pursuing his other interest of digital photography.
