We recently welcomed a batch of brand new Cyantists on board, who are among the best in their professions and all have a passion for being at the forefront of redefining the B2B predictive marketing landscape.
Just over a month ago, Louise Searley, joined us as our new Field Sales Manager, Karishma Dixit, as our Data Scientist, and, last but not least, Anthony Woolcock, as our Senior Data Scientist.
We think the trio have fitted in tremendously well, but what better way to find out how they’re really getting on, than by asking them themselves. First up to spill the beans about her first month as a Cyantist is Karishma.
Take it away Karishma!
Q. What was it that first attracted you to working at Cyance?
A. I was excited by the high level of Research and Development (R&D) involved with, Nexus, Cyance’s pioneering B2B predictive marketing platform, and felt I would have the chance to make valuable contributions towards its development going forward.
Q. How have you found your first four weeks?
A. Challenging, but fun! There’s been a steep learning curve in terms of familiarising myself with Cyance’s existing processes and marketing activity. However, I do feel that I’ve already been able to accomplish a lot in the last few weeks though!
Q. What were your initial observations?
A. Everybody was really friendly and welcoming. The work initially looked challenging, but really fun and I was eager to just do what I do best and dive straight into the data.
Q. What type of work have you been getting stuck into so far?
A. I’ve been working on both short-term and long-term R&D. In particular, I’ve been improving some existing code and exploring the use of alternative machine-learning algorithms.
Q. What do you find most inspiring/appealing about Cyance and why?
A. It’s an exciting, fast-paced and dynamic environment. I love how quickly a brainstorming session over a cup of coffee can be turned into feasible results!
Q. If you had just one word to sum Cyance up, what would it be?
A. Innovative – without a doubt!
Q. Is there anything else you would like to add?
A. I think I’ve joined Cyance at an extremely exciting time and I’m really optimistic about what the future holds.
Next up to spill the beans is Louise Searley, you can find out how Louise has taken to life as Cyantist, by checking out the next blog in this 3-part series.
