If you’ve read the last blog in this special three-part series, then you’ll know that we welcomed a trio of brand new Cyantists to our team just over a month ago.
Louise Searley has joined us as our new Field Sales Manager, Karishma Dixit, as our Data Scientist, and, last but not least, Anthony Woolcock, as our Senior Data Scientist.
Our new team members are all fabulous assets to our rapidly-expanding team and they’ve settled in wonderfully well. Next up to tell us about how she’s been getting on at Cyance is Louise, here’s what she has to say.
Q. What was it that first attracted you to working at Cyance?
A. Cyance is at the beginning of a really exciting journey, with a fantastic vision of where we want to be. It was a journey that I couldn’t miss being a part of!
Q. How have you found your first four weeks?
A. I had a steep learning curve in the first month, really getting to understand the mechanics of Cyance’s pioneering B2B predictive marketing platform, Nexus.
From day one, it felt like I’d known the team for ages. That immediate relationship meant it was really easy for me to settle in and benefit from everybody’s wisdom and it was great to bring the experience that I have to the table too.
Q. What were your initial observations?
A. Nexus makes the data transformation process seem so easy, but the complexities behind the software development and data science, are actually mind blowing!
Q. What type of work have you been getting stuck into so far?
A. As leading B2B predictive marketing specialists, Cyance were among the key players at this year’s Ignite event held by B2B Marketing last month (June). I was part of the Cyance team that attended the event, which we used to officially ‘launch’ Nexus to the B2B marketing world. It was great to be able to help build the launch strategy, as well as see the platform in action at the event.
Q. What do you find most inspiring/appealing about Cyance and why?
A. Cyance is a business filled with experts and everyone is employed because they are the best people for the job. From business operations and leadership, to development and the data science, we are all pulling in the same direction for the benefit of our customers.
Q. If you had just one word to sum Cyance up, what would it be?
A. Disruptive, for all the right reasons!
Q. Is there anything else you would like to add?
A. I think I’ve joined Cyance at an extremely exciting time and I’m really optimistic about what the future holds.
Next up to spill the beans is Anthony Woolcock, you can find out how Anthony has taken to life at Cyance, by checking out the next blog.
